1. What would you call what you’re wearing?
A: I would call what I'm wearing Lagerfeld with a wist. It's a very Karl Lagerfeld look, don't you think? The blazer, the shades, the black fringed necklace made to look like a necktie, and the chains that Karl Lagerfeld is always seen with.
2. Who would you say is your biggest fashion idol/icon?
A: Karl Lagerfeld. My style has always been about Karl Lagerfeld, I even have photos of me imitating his exact look, no twist, no tweaks, whatsoever. I think that he emulates exactly how I want to look like, and what I want to be at the age of 78. He is the creative director of Chanel, the head designer of Fendi, and he also designs Karl Lagerfeld, his own label. He is a talented photographer (he's shot almost all the campaigns of Chanel and Fendi since he decided he wanted and could be a photographer), and he is also very good at marketing himself and turning "Karl Lagerfeld" into a brand.
3. Tell us something about your outfit?
A: My outfit is an all black ensemble with one huge splash of color, my blue button down. I made a pact with myself that I wouldn't wear all black outfits to school anymore, and I've been trying! (There are days when I cheat, haha. Black is just too scintillating and appealing in my eyes) The fringe necklace is one of my favorite school accessories. It just adds elegance to whatever I'm wearing regardless of how plain or simple it is.
4. If you had to create one law that would prohibit a certain type of fashion, what would it be?
A: I would never ban anything! People should be allowed to wear whatever they want, because fashion is one medium of letting people know how one feels and how one really is.
5. Can you give any of our readers/bloggers any fashion Advice?
A: Wear what you want to wear; never let anyone's opinions or their prejudice affect you on what you want to do.
Don't be intimidated by fashion; Anna Wintour once said (not verbatim), that people tend to dislike fashion probably because they don't understand it, which leads to them being intimidated by it. The truth is Fashion is different for every human being; style is very personal, it stems from what makes a person look and feel good. Fashion won't eat people up, they just have to learn to be more embracing of the wonderful world that is fashion.
